About me

After 17 years of working in Total Rewards and Performance Development, I have started my own consulting company Total Rewards Experts.

Short overview of my professional experience: I worked as a consultant for three companies: RAIT Group, Fontes/Figure, and Korn Ferry (formerly Hay Group) for almost 10 years, serving clients in various industries such as IT, Finance, Manufacturing, Shared Service Centers, and others. It was incredibly fulfilling to help them optimize their compensation strategies, make data-driven decisions, and find solutions to their needs.

Most of my responsibilities were in the Baltics, but I also had some very interesting multinational projects. These projects involved rewards, performance management, and multinational employee engagement surveys. One such long-term project involved stakeholders from US and an HR project lead from Germany, covering 10+ countries for industrial technology manufacturing company.

In 2014 I was offered a position within DNB bank for Baltics, which I accepted. The role involved 2500 employees and reporting to the Oslo rewards and mobility head. With my team, I implemented new salary structures, changed benefits, managed expat employee agreements, and partially oversaw the performance management process.

Three years later, during a significant merger of Nordea and DNB in the Baltics, I had the opportunity to reimagine, develop, and lead the Performance Development framework and Total Rewards strategy from a blank sheet to implementation. With a hands-on approach, my team and I created new base salary and variable pay structures, designed benefit packages, and established objectives and key results (OKRs). This undertaking required coordinating efforts across three countries and five entities, and involved working with management boards, supervisory boards, different committees, and shareholder representatives.

I am proud of what my team and I have accomplished.
